The I.C. Media Lab

The Information and Communication Media Lab/Res opened in February 2007. The lab has already hosted several artists from domestic and overseas digital art organizations including Proboscis from the U.K. and the Container Group from Jamaica.

The lab offers home style accommodation and facilites for artists to work. It is located in a quiet residential area just a few minutes from Patton St - the shopping precinct of South Broken Hill and about 45 minutes walk from the city centre.

It was established as part of a partnership with the art exchange and dLux Media Arts in Sydney.
