Visiting Artists

Art Exchange has been the host of several prominent artists since February 07 in the I.C. Media Lab.

Artists have included digital artists Angelica Mesiti and Shaun Gladwell, Alice Angus from Proboscis - UK, Mervyn Jarman from the Container Project - Jamaica and Camille Turner from Canada.

John Alty aka "Jacko" was our artist in residence from 2006 to May 2008. His works include "River of Time" which is a series of 16 paintings on doors demonstrating his experience of the Murray River, and "Umberumberka" - a painting of a local reservoir.

Erica Cordell is a visual merchandiser, set dresser, architectural model maker and film processor. She ran a small workshop on making floor cloths at the I.C. Media Lab/Res in September 2008. "It's been a wonderful experience focusing on creative exploits with others in such a comfortable way and seeing others work."
