Michael Donohue

'We are explorers in a very strange universe' by Michael Donohue. The idea that much of central Australia could once have been an ancient inland sea acts as a starting point for 'we are explorers in a very strange universe'. The rusting boat and reference to the sea reminds us that we are explorers charting new paths for a short period of time. The structure reminds us that we are part of a cycle, part of the rhythms of the present and the past.
