How does Accommodation work with BHAE?
Did you know, as an artist or arts-related worker you can apply for discounted accommodation with BHAE?
If you’re travelling through Broken Hill, or part of an arts crew on tour, or an artist simply looking to discover the rich creativity of Broken Hill first-hand, we can help you with your stay!
BHAE offers discounted accommodation to members. Membership is cheap, lasts a whole calendar year, and offers savings on the broad and eclectic range of workshops on offer all year round at BHAE.
Members can apply for Accommodation using this form. Simply fill in the form, indicate the room type and dates of arrival and departure, and we’ll be in contact with you to arrange your booking.
Please give us time to process your application. It’s recommended to apply for accommodation at least two weeks before your arrival date. We’re aware this isn’t always possible, and sometimes emergencies happen or plans change - so apply anyway even if it’s sooner than a fortnight away, and hopefully we can still help.
ROOMS AND COSTS
There are a variety of rooms available. Each room has a correlating work room, about the size of a single room.
The Single, Dorm and Queen rooms have access to a communal Kitchen and Loungeroom as well as Bathroom facilities.
We have a Gallery space and Studios in our courtyard, charged separately.
The accommodation is simple and economical - you’ll get value for your money (with reduced rates for members), have easy access to the city centre, and be connected to other artists and performers!
