Exhibition Space

Areas are between doors on the first floor of the Broken Hill Art Exchange (the Grand) . Space for 3D work is also available. Allocation of exhibiting space is on a first come first served basis for members only. Preference will be given to members who volunteer. One space will be allocated per artist. Dimensions. The space will be allocated for 2 months; artists may move their art if another space is available.

Roster
A roster will be in place for all volunteers on a fortnightly basis. The roster will support the opening of the Grand for visitors and tourists. Volunteer suggestion is 4 hours per fortnight or month.

Hours

  • Mon through Saturday 10am - 2pm

  • Other hours by appointment

  • Tours welcome by appointment

Summary of terms

  • Artists will be expected to hang/display their own work however, assistance will be available.

  • Artists are required to display a small bio about themselves and their works.

  • All prices for artworks are decided by the artist and commission will be taken from this.

  • All sales are paid into the artists account at the end of each month less commission.

  • The BHAE take all care but no responsibility for the artworks on display.

The minimum exhibition time is 2 months

Commission

  • 30% for members who do not volunteer

  • 20% for members who do volunteer 4 hours per month 

  • 10% for members who volunteer 4 hours per fortnight
