We are looking to fill a position for an artist in resident. Free accommodation and  studio space (minimum 3 months) at the Old Vic Studio Gallery in exchange for opening the gallery 2 -3 week days a week (Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays).  The studio space is part of the gallery building, so the resident is able to work in their studio during opening hours. Would suit either single or couple.  
The accommodation is at one end of the old pub, single storey and consists of 2 rooms and an ensuite. It's fully furnished with queen bed, sofa, table and TV.  Rear entrance to garden.
The kitchen is a shared space with other artists or users of the gallery that live off site.  
Other facilities include pottery wheel and kiln and sinks to do hand printed photography.
As it is a working gallery, we are looking for person/s who is quiet and self reliant and they will be responsible for ensuring the premises remains secure.  A love of cats would be beneficial.
